How to prepare your photo

  2. Move the crop so the subject fits inside the circular preview. On mobile, open Preview to adjust the framing.
  3. Download the square file, then check the actual avatar crop when uploading to Instagram.

Does this export a circular image?

No. It exports a square image. The circle is a composition guide to help you see which corners may be hidden in an avatar display.

Can this generate a new face or remove the background?

No. UploadFit crops and resizes the photo you choose. It does not generate people, retouch faces, or remove backgrounds.
